This position involves greeting customers, easing normal patient anxiety associated with medical appointments, providing information, obtaining patient demographic and insurance information from patients, accurately entering information into the information system, communicating with departments and scheduling appointments as necessary. Additional duties will also include processing and organizing incoming medical information. This position requires an individual with a positive outlook, outstanding dedication to customer service, good listening skills, attention to detail and the ability to work well within a team environment. The preferred candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish and have a minimum of two years of experience working in the medical setting. There are two positions available with one being Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 6:30pm, and the other Tuesday to Saturday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Position will see a mix of inpatient and outpatient cases with a work structure that is predominantly procedure based with occasional support for outpatient clinic activities.
